Accurate and well-designed molds are essential to ensure that a speculum of the desired shape and function is produced.

Material Injection: Once the mold is prepared, a suitable material (usually a medical-grade plastic such as polycarbonate) is injected into the mold cavity at high pressure using specialized machinery. The injection process ensures that the molten material completely fills the mold cavity, forming the shape of the vaginal speculum.
